Tiny World Project
Before we get started with our final project, we need to have a quick overview of perspective, and how to achieve it.

Perspective is about the math that is underneath all drawings depicting distance. Even if you are drawing a landscape, there is some subtle perspective that can be found.

Whenever you see a painting that shows trees getting smaller as they get further away, this is part of perspective.

To get used to perspective, let's create a word in perspective.
Check out the video below!
For our final project, we will be creating a world that we would like to visit.

It can be a fun world, a delicious world, a scary world -- the sky is the limit!
1. We will start by drawing our first draft on sketch paper. Use one of the papers with a predrawn circle on it to make your job easier.
2. Make sure to mark a dot in the middle, so that vertical lines are in perspective to the center.
3. If you want to make many complicated buildings, you may be happier adding 4 more dots (making a five-point perspective).
4. After your sketch is completed, pass your sketch to your good copy paper.
5. You can finish your world with shading and pencil, with coloured pencils or with watercolour (depending on time!)
6. Optional: Using dilluted coffee, fill in the area around the world to make it look antique.
