Micro Art Centre

Microscopic art is one of the least known and most versatile types of art you can do.

You can use any medium -- collage, painting, mixed media, even sculpture -- to create a microscopic art!

How does it work?

Turn on the microscope. There are four stations -- that is, two microscopes that must be turned into the laptop, and two that can work independently!

You can take a picture of the image with your phone and keep it with you to use as a source.

For the white microscopes, you can take the actual picture of the image, and then send to yourself via email.

Then, you can be as creative as you want -- either use the images as they are, making amazing abstract art pieces, or transform them into a different style altogether.

Below, some sweet examples of microscopic slides turned into indigenous art.

Aren't they amazing?

If you are interested in pursuing Microscopic art, then let Mrs. J know, and she will show you how to use the microscope. There are two kids: a white one (which connectsa to the computers) and a black one, which can be used on its own!

Always take a picture of what you want to paint!

Please do not paint on the side tables, or on the light tables. You may take the black microscope to the table with you once you find an image, or take the computer after you have a picture of what you want from the white microscopes.
