Holiday Plays
This year, we will continue the tradition of creating delightful Holiday videos for the school to watch.

Your task is to develop a short play that is Holiday based and inclusive!

A good example of Holiday inclusion can be seen on this play, written and performed by grade 8s two years ago:
Your story can also take on familiar scenarios, such as this one!
Whatever you imagine can be achieved -- the most important thing is to brainstorm a good idea and start writing it.

Some ground rules:

- Groups should be 1 to 6 -- you can make a play individually, and then "hire" or "cast" actors from the class to act in your play.
- Please start writing the script on the computers. One computer per group!
- Please title your story appropriately, so that I know what team you are with and the name of your story - for example, "The gingerbread that ate the reindeer, Team A"
- Please share your story with me right away so that I can give you feedback -- ajurgensen@sd40.bc.ca (on the board)

- You CAN use people from other classes (looking at you, Irene! :D). If they wish to participate, we can record/film during lunch or after class. Just start writing the story, share with your friends and ask them to contribute after class.

- Your script should be no longer than 5 minutes when reading and timing yourselves.
- Only two to three stories will be selected.

- You can make your script to be a live action movie or a stop motion animation. We can record sound and put it together in post-production.

Try to finish the writing this week, so that we may refine it and finish it up next week!

And most importantly -- have fun with this process!
